East Bay Cakes bakes custom one-of-a-kind cakes just for you and for all occasions, such as Birthdays, Weddings, Quinceanera, Anniversaries, Graduations, Baby Showers and Baptisms. We decorate cakes, cake pops, cupcakes, cookies and truffles for any occasion and Holidays too!
We use only the finest and freshest local ingredients to craft our cakes and frostings and there are several flavors to choose from. We work with Ganache frosting and icings,swiss and Italian butter creams, rolled fondant, gum paste, royal icing, isomalt and make edible lace of any design or color. Our cake flavors and textures are simply divine! Custom Cakes baked just for you featuring scrumptious flavors, textures and delectable frosting and fillings.
East Bay cakes prices start at 75.00 for a double tall decorated 6 inch round or 4 layer 8 inch decorated round cakes for special occasions and birthdays.Most Birthday and Baby shower cakes are 160.00-200.00.
I treat all my work as custom specialty orders, just like a wedding cake.
Wedding Cakes start at 500.00 and serve 80-100.There are of course larger weddingcake and those that serve more than 200 start at 1300.00.

We just back from our honeymoon. Wanted to thank you for all your hard work that went into our cake. We loved it! Almost the perfect size, as the only layers left were top two and a chunk of the coconut (which we have been eating for 2 days straight!).

NOTE: The LuLu cookies were custom made wedding favors of LuLu, the rescued doggie of the Bride.They were boxed with heart stickers saying a donation had been made in the guest's honor to a local pet shelter.What a great idea!
Hi Sandra, Here are a couple of pictures of the cake. Our guest loved the cake flavors especially the vanilla bean with banana and strawberries. The cake turned out so nice we received so many compliments I think you may get calls from some of them! I forgot to mention that all the cake pops disappeared quickly I didn't even get to try one 😔so those were also a hit! Thanks again your forever customer! May

Decorating
Sandra Forrester, of East Bay Cakes, has many years experience in cake Baking, Cooking, design and decorating, starting when she was just 19 and working at a bakery in Alameda that specialized in decorated cakes, wedding cakes and adult cakes.
Sandra carves cakes into shapes, making pillow cakes, children's cakes, engagement, babtism, graduation, birthday cakes, bachelor or bachelorette, wedding and anniversary cakes, boss cakes, administrative assistants, cup cakes, mini tiered cakes, ...you name it , we can probably do it!
With that said, we will do everything we can to give you that extra special personal, custom, fabulous and fantastic cake that you and your guests will remember always!

Sandra Forrester started East Bay Cakes a little over a year ago and I have been quite busy! I re-vamped and improved upon my then latent bakery skills to provide custom cakes here in the East Bay Area because I could not find a bakery willing to create the cakes that I wanted for my friends and family.
